Bleach: A thousand -year blood war
A pair of beginner ghost warriors is saved by the local neighborhood guard.
Amun: It was 3850 days from the broadcast of the last seasonal episode of Bleach. Although various films appeared, these were really independent stories that usually did not affect the overall story (we also do not count this strange series Burn The Witch, which happened a few years ago). Running Bleach is one of the more surprising stories over the past year – one of the original pillars of Shounen returning from the dead? Is this a case of a beaten dead cow, will it be a story like a remake of Hunter x Hunter ten years after the original? Well, apparently also – it looks like a new ground is broken. Verdict? Ahem it is. SINGLE. The best. Restart. EPISODE. I’ve ever seen. No ban. This episode hits all the right notes of nostalgia (if you do not get goosebumps hearing the “attraction center”, I am a bit worried about your childhood in anime), at the same time managing a very difficult feat: creating a hybrid-legal background and CGI monsters amazing. I don’t think I saw other anime that copes so well with a hybrid (maybe titanium, I think so?). The main characters still have a lot of old -fashioned love for drawing … and we haven’t even seen half the cast of Soul Society! !! Projects, from character to text, do not look the least on outdated – these are Bleach introduced in the 1920s. I do not know how good the plot of this season is and I do not care – if even a fraction of this level of effort is put into future episodes, they can fight the banished dandelions of Hollow, it does not matter. My hope is out of charts. I didn’t know that I wanted to, I didn’t know I needed it, but my God was excited that this is here.
If you have ever liked any anime Shounen, you should watch this. This is not potential, it really happens. We are glad that we live.
Lenlo: It was … surprisingly good to be back in the world of Bleach. Project, sounds, characters. I was glad that I saw them again. Do not make a mistake, this series will live and die of nostalgia. But so far this nostalgia has been hit hard. Combine it with great Kubo projects and more modern animation, and I go back to 2000, watching fairy tales on Saturday morning and having fun. I do not expect that it will do many narratives, it was one of my least favorite bows on this front. However, it seems that the pace has been drastically improved compared to what Bleach was once, with what is done in the series and does not require a lot of filler (we hope). I also associate high hopes with the condition of production after I heard the announcement that they would be 4 divided tracks, i.e. 13 episodes every 6 months. So maybe, maybe, Bleach will be able to maintain constant production throughout the entire period. This would significantly contribute to the fact that it is worth watching. And yes, CGI Hallow stands out, but as monsters they suffer less than say … CGI people yes. In any case, it is a bleach with a modern layer of paint. It looks good, it seems healthy, if you like standard Shounen, you’ll have fun here. Personally, I intend to experience part of my childhood.
A man with a chain saw
Hey, there is a sweet dog with a chain saw and he is a good friend.
Amun: So I go to Chainsaw Man a bit naive – I heard the noise (and read a very informative pre -season primer Aidan). I also don’t have any predispositions for or against – I’m really an empty card. Entering, the closest tournament I could think about was Dorhedoro, who, as I felt, started well, and then he came down a little from the tracks (saws and crocodiles are similar, yes?) Watching this episode … greater emphasis was placed on history, and less For blood than I expected. I never thought that I would see an anime that made me feel emotionally attached to the dog chainsaw IB) I think that the chain saw is cute, but here we are. Now the problem I have is simple: visualizations. This episode was uneven in terms of production quality. Zombie is an area that is quite forgiving for the mass CGI – and even then I really didn’t think that the fight scenes look so clean. Some parts looked hand -drawn, and these looked great – but under no circumstances they were consistent. I get some flashback to Lucifer and a cookie hammer from the previous season: I see that there is a good story underneath, but it is stopped by production. This is mapping, so I expected at least the first half to look sharp, but I’m afraid we don’t have fuel (intended puns). I will continue, but I need better visual effects for this program to use its potential.
Lenlo: I will just leave and say that, Chainsaw Man was completely fine. I didn’t love it. And contrary to what Aidan may think, I didn’t hate it. It just exists for me. For every beautiful, wide shot or a well -animated fragment of the action, there was a matching shot from jerked CGI, dark, faded colors or weak aliasing. Combine it with treating yourself too seriously when it comes to what it really is about and you will end up with something that does not excite me or discourage me. I hope that with the development of the series it will begin to add a little more colors, more to absorb the lightness associated with the series. At least I want it to look better. I suppose that long and short what I say is as follows: the narrative never cared for Chainsaw Man and it did not change after seeing him animated, I just don’t think it is written well. But I was hoping that Mappa would at least be able to make it a production moloch for the season, and even that seems to be betrayed. All that remained after both of these things is a perfectly good, suitable for use, disregarding show, from which I am sure you will be able to enjoy if it’s your business. What if you want to hear “impartial” praise? Then keep an eye on Aidan’s posts, he will cover them. As for me? I am surprised that he let me write it at all.

A powerful farmer cannot help, but is involved in saving the kingdom, despite his best efforts to remain hidden.
Mario: Ah, we start, Isekai-kun. This spectacle is not bad per se, it rather suffers that it is toothless, harmless and unforgettable. It’s about a boy who maximizes his statistics (the episode literally has a statistics tabs. Why?) Because he is so interested in agriculture, so when we meet him, the guy has already achieved divine power. The plot runs exactly as one would expect: it easily overcomes bad guys to the admiration of others and runs away from recognition … just because. I would say that the way he kills a flying dragon-with a carrot-bumerang-is so absurd that I wonder why the series is not aimed at a comedy/satirical character. At least then we could have fun watching it! The program is thoughtless enough that I think it can be one of the popular programs of the season, but for me I would prefer to watch the pop team epic – at least I try something completely different.
Amun: It’s okay, it’s a bit of a meme.We have a farmer who maximized all his mundane statistics, so he receives an extremely rare impulse of being OP from the mother of Earth.Sure, I think so.But defeating the dragon with a carrot?!Then eat this carrot. You can’t be serious.Another problem I have with this program is how bad CG looks like.I mean, this is an opening scene – here usually the quality does not improve. It’s a bit funny, seeing how he breaks enemies a hoe (it’s a literal agricultural tool, not discrediting any of the waifus). The main guy is nervous and screams a lot, but I strangely like his character design (very crucial). This program definitely has no nutritional value, but if you can enjoy something “so bad that it is good”, it is for you.
