Urusei Yatsura (2022)
The hopeless pervert stays with a jealous roommate from space after he caught her in the change of the game in the tag.
WOOPER: I don’t know how much this restart could be removed from the anime from the 1980s. Perhaps this is the best, because loud colors and hyperactive tone may appeal to the new generation of fans, but I personally watched this premiere with at least one eyebrow raised all the time. He was so devoted to his vivid aesthetics that even his speedlines had a rainbow color, and some shots completely argued with my understanding. I mean what I look at the hell here? To make it clear, the presentation is immersed in this type of ultra-neon territory only for individual shots, but show that the show has very loose limits when it comes to color design. Restarting is animated with greater proficiency than I expected (which is great!), Although the way he jumps from one scene to another, gives the impression that the director had the attitude of Kean Reeves in the movie Speed: Go too slowly, and your anime explodes. This extends already thin relationships, such as the hot-remarkable train of Atar and Shinob, to the critical point, removing the sympathetic aspect of its character, so that it seems only penetrating. I have more accusations that I could mention, but it is better that I end up on a note of praise – Hiroshi Kamiy showed perfectly as a liberal, sinister ataru. I am sure that this was not a difficult choice, because he played similar characters in the past, but nevertheless hats with heads before the casting director for making the right choice.
Not for me
Mario: I was looking forward to this restart, because Urusei Yatsura was one of the most popular programs in the 1980s and it is quite funny to see how they adapted it for modern audiences. The result is a mixed bag. I like visualizations well enough; Character designs pop up and it doesn’t bother me that it goes like a banana with a color palette. It certainly has a retro aesthetics that I am looking for. Unfortunately, this story seems outdated and pointless. Will this quarrel about the love triangle be visible until the end of its run? I feel loud and one note one episode. The worst thing, however, is how widely outlined the main characters are – they do not feel at all credible or friendly. We don’t know them as units, so we don’t feel anything for their relationship. This is a kind of show in which you can take it only for a good coin and not think about the plot or characters later. Although I like the production, the appearance itself can only lead you so far.
After an exciting summer break, the mission class receives an ultimatum to stay in its comfortable class – with new lessons from eccentric teachers.
Amun: I watched Marimashita before the start of the season, so I have a general idea where this season is going (at least at the beginning).Returning to Babyls, Marimashita does not waste time on new challenges: teachers and the required steps. How does it look like?Personally, I really liked what I read about the materials from this season, and this episode did nothing to dissuade me.If, I think they are really good at the pace because I could see how they rushed through the ground. If I have any complaints, it will be a lack of America this season: why couldn’t she resist the amazing foundations from the previous season? One step forward, two steps back, I think. To sum up, there are no surprises here – but for what began as an average comedy that entered the third season, this is an achievement in itself.I am in this all the time.
Nice doji danshi
A handsome student makes one faux pas after the other, but at least he looks good, doing it.
WOOPER: This program was not subscribed at the time of writing this text, so I went raw to get the last first impression of 2022 – except that I cheated, following the manga on my second monitor, so I could follow the episode well. Cool Doji Danshi is a relaxing semi -long CGDKT (sweet guys doing awkward things) with attractive simple character designs and frequent cutouts for a patterned background. It is poorly animated, but I liked the realism displayed during the slow morning Routine Hayate, which clearly used the reference material. Hayate is the type of a guy who would forget about his head if he was not attached to the neck, which causes difficulties everywhere, from work, by receiving with drinking, to trips to the grocery store. People notice his distraction, wherever he succeeds, but they say nothing about it (except for his best friend and his growing boss) because he has such a nice aura. Watching the Ikemen series, which does not talk about the Idolek group, is refreshing – the girls are still fainting after meeting with Hayate, but because of his clumsiness and beauty, and at the end he gets a nice monologue about accepting some of himself, which he does not like, and parts which he likes. I liked the time spent with this episode and if I understood Japanese, I would probably watch more, but for now I will have to hope that a generous soul will start subscribing to it in the coming weeks.
