German movie magazine: Place Pictures takes over the British company Anime Limited

The Embracer Group AB is based in Sweden and was previously called THQ Nordic AB.The company is a home company of 119 development studies dealing with console, mobile, computer and board games.In May, the company acquired the studies of creating Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Control and Square Enix Montréal from Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd., and in December 2021, Dark Horse Media took over.

Scotland loves anime and Andrew Partridge from Kazé UK launched the Anime Limited distribution company at the end of 2012.The company is based in Glasgow, Scotland and has offices in Paris and San Francisco.Anime Limited is distributing in Great Britain and France.The company conducts the Aunt Matensuri anime convention and launched its own SCREEN Anime streaming service in 2020.The streaming service ended in May 2021.

Anime Limited also got involved in anime shows in cinemas, broadcasting on channels such as Vice UK and Sky Movies, as well as sharing anime digitally in Great Britain via Netflix, Amazon Prime and other services.
