, will receive an adaptation of anime produced by Production I.G.Anime will be published in 2023.

A new website dedicated to anime was launched, on which all information about it will be posted.The site presented the first trailer of anime adaptation to commemorate the announcement on October 18, 2022.

In addition, the solemn illustration of Mangaki Ishiguro with his commentary was also revealed.

Here’s what Mangaka had to say about the anime adaptation:

I actually thought that animation is the best way to illustrate the deserted beauty and despair of the ruined daily scenery.

However, as a manga artist, I struggled with black and white immovable paintings, but I never thought that the animation project would start.

I can’t wait to see what journey Kiruko and Maru will take when they are brought back to life with anime.

Manga is served in the monthly afternoon Kodansh from January 2018.

The first volume was published in July 23, 2018. Seven volumes were published until March 2022.

In North America, the series is licensed by Denpa to release in English.The first volume was published on December 31, 2019.
