New Anime Trailer Vinland Saga Season 2 of the premiere on January 9 (update 2)

Twin Engine revealed on Monday that the second season of the TV Anime Manga Vinland Saga Makoto Yukimury will premiere on January 9 at Tokyo MX, BS11 and GIF transmission.Anime will also appear on AT-X.

Twin Engine also began the broadcast of the new trailer of the program, which reveals and announces the opening of the music song Anonymous “River”.

Anime will be broadcast in Japan on Netflix and other websites, and outside Japan, among others on Netflix and Crunchyroll.

In the second season, employees of the first season will return to the Mappa Animation Studio instead of Wit Studio.Shūhei Yabuta (director Inuyashiki Last Hero, director Attack on Titan 3D) returns to direct anime.Hiroshi Seko (Banana Fish, Ajin: Demi-Human) supervises and writes the scripts of the series.Takahiko Abiru (2011 Animation Director Hunter × Hunter) returns to design characters.Yutaka Yamada (Tokyo Ghoul, Donten ni Warau Gaiden: Ketsubetsu, Yamain No Chikai) composes music again.

The first anime season premiered in July 2019. Amazon Prime Video broadcast anime in both Japan and abroad.Sentai Filmworks has granted anime for home video release.Hidive and Netflix began the broadcast of the series in July.

Yukimura released a series in the weekly Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2005, but Kodansha moved the series to Afternoon in the same year.Yukimura began to draw the fourth and last manga arch in November 2019.The series has over 7 million copies in circulation.
